Under the Mayan sky

By the Mayan ruins at Tulum we saw this aerial ceremony performed. The man at the top played a flute and a small drum, while he slowly lowered the four flying men towards the ground, hanging upside down. They were spinning around the blue pole in the middle, like colorful birds falling from the sky, and also reminding me of the image of the hanged man in a deck of Tarot cards.
